A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELP MAKE ENDS MEET
What is the Lend a Hand Program?
The Lend a Hand Program was created by the Greater Decatur Chapter of Credit Unions to help temporary workers in the Decatur community.
We all know that making ends meet is difficult - even when you’re working. The Lend-A-Hand Program helps ordinary, working folks meet their needs. Whether it’s a crib for a new baby, a toilet to replace the broken one in someone's home or clothes for the kids - we want to help.
What can temporary workers ask for?
The Lend-A-Hand Program can provide the following types of help:
Household | Repair Parts, Furniture, etc.
Clothing | Kid’s Clothes, Uniforms, etc.
Baby Items | Cribs, Car Seats, etc.
School Items | Books, Supplies, etc.
Food Items | Meats, Canned Goods, etc.
Transportation | Bus Passes, Car Parts, etc.
Really, the list is endless. We want to try and help people with whatever they might need. Whether it’s a small home repair, clothes for work or a new mattress for the bedroom, the Lend-A-Hand program is meant to provide some relief.
Are you a temporary worker? What do I need to do to apply?
Simply fill out the application below if you feel like we might be able to help you. No matter how big or small your request, we’ll make sure to give it our attention.
